Jerne Station

Jerne Station is a local station on the Esbjerg Nærbane, which runs between Varde, Esbjerg and Ribe. It is served by the regional trains in the area, with about two trains per hour in each direction.

The new station is located at Skolebakken in the eastern part of Esbjerg, the most appropriate location in relation to the catchment area (number of residents, workplaces and study places in the immediate area)

The pictures show the access roads to the platforms from Skolebakken. Due to the large difference in level between the road and the railway, lifts were established from road level up to the platforms.
